Fashion Jewellery To prolong your jewellery life time and keep it shining, it is important to avoid direct contact with water, hairspray, perfume, hand cream and other chemicals directely to the jewelleries. Therefore apply perfume, cream, spray hairspray first and wait until your skin is dry before putting the jewelleries on! Many of our products are adonred with crystals that are glued onto the metal. To avoid loss of crystal stones we recommend to apply a thin layer of transparent nail polish over the crystals a few times during the year. It is important to remove jewellery before performing gardening or household tasks or any strenuous activity that may result in damage from chemicals or loss of stones. Fashion jewellery will last longer with proper care. This means not only using caution and common sense when wearing jewellery, but also making sure it is cleaned, stored and packaged in a proper manner. Store jewellery with large crystals separately from harder gemstones, as they can scratch the surface. Care for genuine sterling silver and silver plated metal Genuine sterling silver jewelry must be cleaned occasionally to remove tarnish. There are many commercial silver polishes and polishing cloths available and they are suitable for cleaning silver jewellery. Tarnish is easier to remove when its layer is thinnest, so be sure to polish silver as soon as the tarnish appears. Wear your jewelry often to help prevent tarnish build up. Clean carefully silver plated jewellery as they only have a thin layer of silver and if polished hard the layer will vanish. Care for real pearls Pearls are very vulnerable to damage by the chemicals in cleansers and cosmetics. Chemicals damage the surface and dull the beautiful luster. To keep your pearls in good condition, wipe them with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth after every wearing. Occasionally clean pearls with a water and mild dish soap solution, but don't soak the jewellery. Wipe the pearl jewellery with a soft cloth dipped in the solution, rinse the cloth in fresh water and wipe the pearls again. Don't clean pearls in ultrasonic jewellery cleaner: the process is too rough for these delicate treasures.Do not keep your pearls together with keys, coins or other hard materials. Keep your pearls in your jewellry box or other soft material, but avoid cotton as it dries the pearls. Care for handbags of genuine leather and  handbags of suède  Avoid using suède handbags when it is raining outside. Suede has a tendency to discolorate. Always impregnate your suède and genuine leather handbags. If your suède handbag gets dirty clean it with a moisted cloth as soon as possible. Let it dry and use a suède brush and brush the area carefully. Don’t expose your genuine leather handbag to direct sun for a longer periods because the leather dries out and the item loses its natural beauty. Keep the handbag away from radiators or other sources of heat to prevent the drying out of its leather. Don’t expose your genuine leather product to freezing temperatures, to direct contact with snow or rain, because, being natural leather, it can be damaged. Avoid spilling drinks or liquids on the handbag, because there’s the risk that the leather can soak up these liquids. Use a moisted cloth to clean the surfice of your leather handbag. In order to avoid permanent damage of your handbags, never use force to open or close zippers, buttons or other mechanical functions of your handbags. If some function detail suddenly stops working properly, control the problem carefully and with patience before pulling or pushing anything. Care for handbags of  man-made leather (PU) and other faux leather accessories All products of artificial leather "PU" are easy to care. Use a moist cloth to clean the surface of the products. It is important to avoid using alcohol or other chemical substances that can disolve the surface of the material . Chemicals containing alcolhol or disolvents will effect the structure, colour, pattern and the quality of the material. The best way is to apply the same guidance rules for artificial leather as for fashion jewellery, see the text above for Fashion Jewellery.   Syntetic man-made leather is not as strong as genuine leather, so kindly do not overload your man-made leather handbag with heavy items, because there is a risk that the material will brake. Don’t expose your man-made leather handbag to direct sun for longer periods or to freezing temperatures, or to direct contact with snow, because the mateiral will be negatively affected.
